New Bullet Train is launched in Japan
Regular Japanese network of railway lines has replenished with the new version of Bullet Train -Type N700 model which can make the maximal speed about 186,41 miles per hour. This one is the fastest Japanese Bullet Train from those that operate now.
The new train has made the first trip, having run the 550,3-kilometer route from Tokyo to Osaka with 1300 passengers onboard for 2 hours and 25 minutes. At that the average speed of the train was 141,49 miles per hour.
Experts inform that it is the first new model among all trains of Bullet Train series, which has been let out on a regular line since 1999. And in comparison with its predecessors N700 accelerates by 30 % faster, and behaves much more stable on turns.
Let’s remind, that the absolute record of speed for trains belongs to the French made one: recently the newest updated TGV has accelerate up to 357,16 miles per hour.
