Japanese scientists have discovered at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean a mysterious creature which very much reminds a kite.
Scientists assume that it may be a new species of a deep-water jellyfish. On the photos made by the autonomous deep-water device on the depth of approximately 23 677,82 feet in 124,27 mi to the south from Okinawa island, they saw the transparent jelly-like body.
Also one can see in a picture that the creature catches the stream and as the kite on a wind, soars in a thickness of water. Scientists assume that it is a jellyfish as it has two long tentacles which help it to catch a bag.
Body of a jellyfish, according to descriptions of scientists, have the form of an oblong dome, and makes about 1,97 inches at width and 5-12 at length.
It is informed, that the first pictures of this mysterious organism was made during test immersion of Kajko pilotless device of the Japanese agency of sea and ground researches and technologies (JAMSTEC) in April, 2002. All the next years experts analyzed the received data and only now decided to publish the results.
