Astrobiologist David Grinspun from the Denver Nature and science museum considers that Venus and Mars in the past have been subjects to the climatic disasters.
David Grinspun has assumed that the climate on Venus and Mars was similar to that on the Earth, but then changed.
The reason of climate change on the Venus was a greenhouse effect, which resulted in rise of the temperature on the planet’s surface, while Mars had lost an atmosphere and cooled down, the scientist considers.
Studying the data received from the satellites of the European space agency Venus Express and Mars Express climatologists receive the valuable information.
Scientists consider that the information on Venus and Mars climate will help to specify computer models of the Earth climate, as climate changes on different planets obey the same laws of nature.
