American company Audience has developed a chip which allows to improve considerably sound quality during mobile communication, writes The New York Times.
The size of the device, which will be presented in Barcelona at the World Mobile Congress, is comparable with the size of a grain. The chip removes noise which does not concern the voice.

Now the filtration of external noise in cellular telephones is carried out with the special software. Authors of the new processor claim that their device is more effective.

It is not the only way to improve sound quality in noisy premises. In December, 2007 the Japanese company NS-ELEX has created a hybrid of an ear-phones with microphone. The last analyzes vibration of air in an ear and external noise can be notably reduced.
