Japanese company Toyota has created the device which will automatically stop an automobile before a red signal of traffic lights and before road sign STOP.

According to the developers, the new device reacts to signals of transmitters on roadway that warn about the change of lights to red. The new device notifies the driver with visual and sound signals, and if the driver ignores the warning of the system, his automobile will be stopped automatically.

It is necessary to note, that besides the given novelty, Toyota together with Nissan have developed the wireless device which warns drivers about a presence of pedestrians on badly seen crossroads and streets, and notifies pedestrians about approaching of an automobile.

Now both devices are in a stage of testing.
