Large US Internet-shop Amazon has started sales of wireless device Kindle for reading of electronic books.

Sizes of a novelty is almost the same as of a usual book, however it can contain in the memory up to 200 volumes. The screen of the device is economic, and the device can work for 30 hours without additional charge. Kindle also has the keyboard, allowing making notes in documents and sending messages, has special buttons for switching to Wikipedia and the explanatory Oxford dictionary of the American English.

Memory of the device can be increased in addition with the help of SD cards, but Amazon will store backup copies of all bought books, so they can always be downloaded again. Downloading of one book, according to the manufacturer, takes about one minute.

To download a book, blog or various newspapers, Kindle shouldn’t be connected to a personal computer - the data are just loaded through a wireless network EVDO which, unfortunately, is not available outside Northern America.

The founder of Amazon shop Jeff Bezo has informed that Kindle’s owners should not pay for access to EVDO - Amazon will pay for it - however they should pay to the shop for everything that they download.
At present the cost of wireless device Kindle makes 399 US dollars.
