The reality of human’s cloning in the nearest couple of years (according to the forecasts of American and Italian geneticists) sets up the requirement to impose the moratorium on cloning up to creation of the international convention, consider experts from the United Nations’ University.

Doctor Chamundisvari Kuppusvami, one of four authors of the report on cloning situation informed that clone of a human being can appear earlier, than the world community develops legislative frameworks. “Therefore we believe that in this conditions there is a need of a temporary moratorium on all scientific developments, connected to cloning of the person”, - added she.

“The nations have to make a choice between a full interdiction on cloning of the person, or to limit sphere to a reconstruction of separate organs of the person. Otherwise we should soon pass the convention on protection of the clones rights”, - has told Kuppusvami.

The doctor also has noted that there is no agreement concerning an interdiction of cloning and all scientific works in the United Nations. Even use of an embryo in the therapeutic purposes causes aversion in many ethnic groups as the human embryo and a human cell are already carriers of a life.

By the way, Vatican has already bearded experiment with the person at a cell level.

In 2005 United Nations has passed the Declaration on Cloning of the Person, which has been supported by 85 states from 192. 50 states have imposed a ban on cloning of the person at national levels; but creation of clones is not regulated in any country.
