The new carbon cycle is opened
Researchers from York University have found out a new short cycle of carbon circulation, which proceeds due to the microorganisms living on roots of plants and eating sugar made by them.
Green leaves of plants, using sun energy, develop sugar from water and carbonic gas which provides growth of plants. However, as has shown the recent research which has been conducted by Pr. Peter Young and his colleagues, the part of sugar gets directly in roots of plants where it is absorbed by specific microorganisms.
The new carbon cycle was open by scientists during observation over moving of non-radioactive natural isotope of carbon (ะก13) which scientists placed instead of carbon-12 in the carbonic gas, directed to plants, was informed in press release of York University.
