Developers of the American corporation iRobot have created new generation of the fighting robots iRobot which are much larger and faster than their predecessors.

Model Warrior x700 is the most perfect robot for a battlefield or police operations. The novelty weighs 113 kg, at the same time its useful load can reach 180 kg. The maximal speed of x700 makes 24 kilometers per hour.

iRobot Warrior x700 can neutralize bombs, deliver to fighters ammunition and water, to patrol and explore. It even can serve as a fireman, if it is needed.

Developers inform that a lot of various things can be installed on the case of this machine, for example: video camera, manipulator, machine-gun and even an automatic grenade cup discharge.

Depending on a task, new robot can function for 1,5-16 hours on one charging of a battery. The new robot will appear on sale only in 2008.
