Japanese have created the new power supply for engines
Experts of the Japanese company Daihatsu have developed the new hydrogen power supply for engines in which platinum is not used.
As it is known, in modern hydrogen power supplies for engines platinum is used as an electrolyte. It essentially influences cost of the cell.
Taking into account this factor, engineers of Daihatsu company have decided to replace platinum with cheaper cobalt and nickel. In the result, the cell developed by them uses hydrazine hydrate instead of hydrogen, as an alternative fuel without СО2 emissions.
