Japanese corporation Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., which is known in the world by the brand Subaru, has created the first-ever automobile equipped with system of an automatic stopping before an obstacle.

Passenger compartment has two special videocameras which fix all objects appearing ahead and distance to them. In the case of dangerous approach the system independently makes a decision to stop the car.

At the same time if the driver by mistake presses an accelerator pedal, instead of brake, the device will not pay attention to this and will act according to a situation. Attempt to move from a place if there is any obstacle before wheels, for example, a border, won’t also crown success - accelerator pedal will not function.

According to the Japanese developers of the new safety system for automobiles, it will go on sale the next year. The corporation expects, that the device will help to reduce death rate on roads, and also to lower damage, caused in road accident.
