Roskosmos’ (Russian space) press-service informs that at the end of this August they will conduct public hearings on estimation materials concerning the influence of space systems and complexes, which operation is supposed on Baikonur, on the environment.

Experts who are engaged in studying of various factors of influence of space technical equipment on the environment, and also representatives of the public and mass media are invited to participate in these public hearings.

It is known, that the hearings will be organized by the Administration and self-government public council of the city of Baikonur, with the assistance and direct participation of the enterprises of the space-rocket industry.
